Besides our stringent routine cleaning procedures, we use the highest classification of disinfectants recommended by the CDC. Being we are in a mountain forest setting you can expect to see wildlife like black bears, deers, jack rabbits, and birds. Most people have a fear of bears but they are docile and when left alone they will leave you alone. We encourage you to enjoy their beauty from afar but please Do not Feed the wildlife or approach them. If you encounter a black bear on a hike, remain still; stand your ground but slowly wave your arms and make lots of noise. Help the bear recognize you as a human. It may come closer or stand on its hind legs to get a better look or smell. A standing bear is usually curious, not threatening. Fines & Damage Policy Guests are responsible for any stains, damages, or missing items during their stay. • Removable stains: $50 per item • Non-removable stains (linens/towels): $100 per item • Non-removable stains (sofa, mattress, rugs, curtains): $200 • Hair dye, bleach, oil, or bodily fluid stains: replacement cost • Excessive cleaning: $500 • Smoking inside the property: $500 fee • Lost/damaged items: charged at repair or replacement cost All charges will be documented and processed through Airbnb’s Resolution Center.
