★ Getting to the beach: We are just 1.23 miles from the beach, with many options to get you there in minutes. It’s a 5-minute drive by car, but if you’d rather not have to find your own way, you can make use of the free, door-to-door shuttle service. Just download the FREEBEE App and submit your request, and the free transportation will pick you up and drop you off. We also love riding bikes to the beach. You will find plenty of bike parking all around downtown and near the beach, where you can safely lock up your bike. Walking is another excellent option for those looking for a little exercise.
